Congratulations on your nomination for chieftaincy title conferment by His Royal Highness, Oba Okhishimede Eshimokhai Idogu III, JP, OON, the Olokpe of Okpe Kingdom.

Please, tell us how you felt when you were informed by the royal palace of your nomination for conferment as a palace chief.

I was shocked and surprised because I didn’t see it coming at all. Indeed, the joy that came with it was indescribable. It’s a great recognition and I will eternally be grateful for it. May the name of God be praised.

His Highness said you were one of those young girls that danced for him during his coronation in 1987, how true was it?

So true! That was the best gift at my reach then and I did it with joy.

Tell us how you feel that thirty years after, you are being conferred a chieftaincy title in his palace.

It makes me feel special and grateful to God for the gift of life for us all. I sincerely appreciate the king for remembering that thirty years after.

Do you think, Madam, that your conferment as a palace chief in Okpe Kingdom shall add value to Okpe Kingdom?  If ‘Yes’, tell us how you think that can happen.
